Is your site broken, or just tired?
What we measure
We open your site the way your customers do: on a normal phone, on a normal connection, not on a fast office laptop. Then we look at the things that actually decide whether someone waits or leaves.
How many megabytes the page loads. How many requests fire before the hero is visible. Whether the main image is sized for a phone or shipped at desktop resolution. Whether fonts block the first render. And whether third-party scripts, sliders, maps, chat widgets, and trackers are loading ahead of your content.
What you get back
Not a hundred-page automated report. A short, plain-language summary: here is why your site feels slow, here are the two or three things hurting it most, and here is the honest call.
Sometimes the call is good news: the site is healthy and a few fixes will do it. Sometimes it is a rebuild, because the weight is baked into how the site is built. Either way, you get a straight answer, not a sales funnel.
Tune or rebuild
If the site is fundamentally sound, we will tell you what to tune and you can take that to anyone. If it is structurally heavy, where every page carries old CSS, plugin scripts, and a database roundtrip, we will explain why tuning has limits and what a rebuild would change.
For proof of what a rebuild can do, the Orfanus site went from 11 MB and 131 requests to roughly 0.2 MB and 11 requests, with the performance score climbing from 62 to 100. That is the gap between a tired site and a rested one.
Then it is your call
The audit comes with no obligation. If you want us to rebuild it, we quote a fixed price and ship two previews. If you just wanted to know what was wrong, now you know. Send the URL and we will take it from there.
People also ask
-
What is a website speed audit?
It is a focused check of what your site loads and how fast it becomes useful on a real device. We look at page weight, number of requests, image sizing, fonts, third-party scripts, and how quickly the first useful content appears, then explain what is slowing it down.
-
How much does the audit cost?
The initial teardown is a quick, low-commitment look. Send your URL and we come back with the main findings. If a deeper audit or a rebuild makes sense, we will say so and quote a fixed price up front.
-
What do I get from the audit?
A plain-language summary of why the site is slow, the two or three things hurting it most, and an honest recommendation: tune what you have, or rebuild the surface. No hundred-page automated dump, just the findings that matter.
-
Do you only audit WordPress sites?
No. We audit any small-business site, WordPress, Elementor, Wix, Squarespace, or a hand-built site. The method is the same: measure what loads, find what is wasteful, and tell you whether it is worth tuning or rebuilding.
Send your URL
We will tell you why your site is slow and whether it needs tuning or a vacation. Plain language, no upsell.
